In our latest episode of the Humanli Podcast, our host Karl sat down with Peadar Collins, the Student Welfare Officer in UL Student Life.
As well as his work at the University of Limerick, Peadar is running a very successful campaign called Speakfor15, which he set up before the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan. The campaign encourages people to put their phones down during halftime of a match and speak to each other for those 15 minutes. To date, he has fundraised over €6000 for Pieta House.
Alongside chatting about his work on Speakfor15, Karl and Peadar chat about how the society we’re living in is affecting young peoples mental health.
